Business Development Representative

Location:  Anywhere.

Job type:  Full-time, remote.

Job Brief

The main goal of this position is to generate increased revenue for the company, driving our success forward. In this role, you'll be crucial to Teracloud's growth, focusing on strategic planning, sales management, and client prospecting. You'll collaborate with company executives and marketing professionals to analyze market trends and propose new ideas and markets. 

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.

  • Own and manage the company's sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of new opportunities.

  • Conduct in-depth research to identify new markets and understand customer needs.

  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new sales leads and opportunities.

  • Research, plan, and implement initiatives to penetrate new target markets.

  • Actively pursue leads and guide them through the sales cycle to successful closure.

  • Assess client needs and align them with the company’s capabilities to meet those needs.

  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to network and identify potential opportunities.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, promoting the company's products and services to meet client objectives.

  • Provide reliable feedback and after-sales support, building and maintaining long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree: a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

  • AWS Certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner is highly desirable.

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in tech companies as a Business Development Representative, Sales Executive, or a similar role for at least 3 years.

  • Experience in customer support is advantageous.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Hard Skills

  • Exceptional proficiency in both written and verbal English communication.

  • Knowledge of project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana for effective project coordination

  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.

  • Proficiency in using prospecting tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Crunchbase, and Apollo.

  • Advanced skills in Google Docs and Google Sheets for documentation and data analysis.

  • Proficiency in presentation software such as Prezi, Google Slides, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure management is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a solid understanding of IT concepts.

  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Ability to act with integrity, maintain professionalism, and handle confidential information responsibly.

  • Strong empathy and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive client relationships.

  • Highly driven and self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving goals.

  • Effective persuasion skills to influence and engage potential clients.

  • Excellent time management and planning skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
